Banjo in a Classroom

This is a video of me teaching banjo to kids in a classroom this class is a guitar class for kids. This is a school in Fair Oaks and JJ Music Lessons provides services there.

In my guitar or ukulele classes I will often take about 5- 10 minutes to show the kids a new instrument. Today it was the banjo. 

Banjo Strings

The are five strings and the strings are GDGBD

Snare

There is a snare that amplifies the sounds just like that of a snare on a drum set. 

Picks

You use finger picks to pluck the strings.
