Music Lessons in Folsom with Charter Schools- Inspire, Visions, South Sutter, Horizon, Foothills Learning Academy

We are happy to announce that we are offering voice, piano, guitar, and ukulele lessons through the Charter Schools near Folsom. This includes Inspire, Visions, South Sutter, Core Placer, and Horizon. We also teach at Foothills Learning Academy and love that! Our program is growing so much and we love it! This last year we have done two recitals and events at the Gaslight in Folsom and they both went really well! Here's some information about the classes and programs that we offer for the Charter Schools through Foothills Learning Academy- 

Ukulele-

Each student will realize that they can be a ukulele player. This course serves as an introduction to the instrument and will provide students with an instant access to making music on the ukulele. Focus points will be strumming and rhythms, reading music, and improvising. This course is also a great way to kick start kids into learning musical instruments. The ukulele is a lot easier to learn how to play starting out than the piano or guitar. Students that start with ukulele will find that they can learn other instruments a lot faster as a result.  

Music Theory- 

Music theory is the study of the practices and possibilities of music. Music theory is frequently concerned with describing how musicians and composers make music, including tuning systems and composition methods among other topics. It is the science and theory of how music works in western composition. Any student that is interested in how music works will find themselves enjoying this course. Music theory also explores the practical application of harmony and composition. In other words, those that love music will find themselves enjoying this course. The students who take this course will also learn how to read sheet music better and compose themselves using the tricks and tools of the trade.
